In spite of racing with a handicap that would cause lesser horses to cower - a blind right side - POLLARD'S VISION competed against the best of his generation and came away a multiple graded stakes winner. A stakes horse at two who broke his maiden at Saratoga by 12 1/2 lengths, POLLARD'S VISION bankrolled over $1.4 million while capturing such races as the Illinois Derby-G2 and the Lone Star Derby-G3. Four of his six victories were in graded stakes events and he placed in another seven graded stakes, including the Pimlico Special-G1 and Suburban-G1. "POLLARD was tough, durable, and consistent - a real warrior, the type of horse everyone would want to own," said trainer Todd Pletcher. "He gave you everything he had every time he went out there."
POLLARD'S VISION is by the exceptional Mr. Prospector son and sire Carson City. His dam is a full sister to millionaire and young sire Bowman's Band. Other top-class horses in his immediate family include champion Chris Evert (his fourth dam), champion and successful sire Chief's Crown, and recent G1 winners Sightseek and Tates Creek.
** Pollard's Vision is Available for Southern Hemisphere Breeding.
